Floring’s Carinderia first opened in 1972 in Brgy. Ilaures, Bugasong, Antique as a small bamboo structure near a terminal. Established by Florencia Escoton Jalipa, it gained popularity for its native chicken adobo, a dish cooked by Florencia for her husband and his friends. Over time, the carinderia expanded its capacity, serving up to 50 people and preparing 30-40 native chickens daily, with a unique pricing system. The Belison Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BelMPC) was originally established as the Belison Credit Union in 1964 and, at present, has over 7,170 members, recognized as an institution in Antique. In 1992, the organization rebranded and has since expanded its services, including tailored financial products, support for enterprise initiatives, and telecommunications while also offering support services like money transfers, insurance, and bill payments. BelMPC also has since expanded its operations by opening a satellite office in Iloilo. Its service to the community includes social welfare programs like healthcare missions, educational initiatives, and environmental stewardship activities.

The Sabang Seaweed Growers Association (SSGA) was established on January 20, 2009, initially comprising 119 members, primarily composed of small-scale fisherfolk. It has been officially registered with the Department of Labor and Employment since 2013. SAPAL WEAVERS ASSOCIATION

The Sapal Weavers Association (SWA), established in 2006, supports the weaving community in Barangay Sapal, San Lorenzo, Guimaras. Originally with 44 members, it presently has 33 active members who engage in the traditional craft of weaving “banig” (handwoven mats) and other woven products. The men handle tasks like planting, harvesting, cleaning, and drying the buri and baryos leaves, while the women do the actual weaving. In 2015, SWA won first place in the “Pasundayag sa Manggahan” competition, and in 2018, the local government donated the Handicraft and Processed Food Center facility for their operations.

Guimaras State University (GSU), located in Barangay Mclain, Buenavista, Guimaras, began as Buenavista Vocational School in 1964 and, since 2019, elevated to a state university. The Sitio Buyuan-Baras Coffee Growers Association (SBBCGA) is a local agricultural organization based in Brgy. Tigbanaba, Igbaras, Iloilo, focused on coffee cultivation, processing, and distribution.
