Sagay Young Artists Club (SYAC), located in Sagay, Negros Occidental, is a cultural institution founded in 1966 by Soledad S. Plana to nurture children’s musical talents and promote creativity. The organization provides training in piano, violin, other instruments, vocal performance, dance, and visual arts, while also offering performance opportunities in recitals, cultural shows, and church events. Over the decades, SYAC expanded its programs with expert mentors, including ballet, orchestral instruments, and traditional Negrense dance, achieving milestones such as NAMCYA regional recognition and sending scholars to the Philippine High School for the Arts.
