The Dr. Jose Rizal Monument in San Remigio Elementary School, Antique, was built in 1922 and is nearly a century old. Donated by Atty. Ramon Maza, it symbolizes patriotism and honors Rizal’s fight for Philippine freedom. The life-size statue stands prominently at the school’s front and is surrounded by benches and plants, with a unique design featuring his books attached to his leg.
