The bangkaw owned by Lucio Gomez is a spear believed to be around 90 years old. Made of metal and wood, the spear measures 142 cm in total length, with a 34 cm metal blade that is dull and has rusted over time. Originally purchased by his grandfather in Valderama, Antique for hunting animals like deer and pigs, the spear was then passed down to his father Jose Gomez, then to Lucio who currently continues the family tradition. DR. JOSE RIZAL MONUMENT

The Dr. Jose Rizal Monument in San Remigio Elementary School, Antique, was built in 1922 and is nearly a century old. Donated by Atty. Ramon Maza, it symbolizes patriotism and honors Rizal’s fight for Philippine freedom.
