The Gabaldon Building of Anini-y Central School in Antique was constructed in 1935 and is now 86 years old, serving educational purposes. Its design combines traditional Filipino architecture like bahay kubo and bahay na bato with American influences, featuring raised floors, Capiz windows, and concrete stilts for ventilation and durability. Originally used by early students and later adapted for different school functions, it was renovated in 2018 by the Department of Education with guidance from the National Historical Commission. The building remains occupied and in excellent condition, though some parts were altered during restoration. As a Gabaldon school building, it holds historical and architectural importance, representing the legacy of American-era public education in the Philippines. Though the right wing was renovated in 2014 without keeping its original look, most of the building was later restored to reflect its original features.
