The Igtuble People Strings Band is a traditional music group from Tubungan, Iloilo, made up of Indigenous musicians who preserve and perform cultural songs and dances. The group was revived in 2007 by Chieftain Recto Taghap, who gathered musicians from Igtuble and nearby villages to bring back sayaw music, which had faded due to modern influences. Binabaylan music is a traditional musical form used in healing rituals led by babaylans or folk healers in Tubungan, Iloilo, especially in barangays Igtuble, Igpaho, and Molina. Korona ka Amo, locally known in Tubungan, Iloilo, also called the Rafflesia, or “Uruy and Karay-a” in other areas of Panay, is a rare and giant flower that grows as a parasite on Tetrastigma vines in the rainforest.
