Balay Turun-an or School of Living Traditions in Barangay Panuran, Lambunao, Iloilo, built in 2016 to preserve the culture of the Indigenous Peoples community. It teaches traditional arts, crafts, music, poetry, rituals, and other cultural knowledge to young people to keep their heritage alive. The school was started through community efforts and support from local leaders, including Rex Castigador, with help from the Department of Education. Kape or robusta coffee thrives in tropical climates and can be found in certain areas in Lambunao, mainly Cabatangan, Panuran, Bagongbong, and Agsirab. Its flowers have a pleasant fragrance, often described as sweet and floral with hints of jasmine or citrus notes. The fruit is called coffee cherry, which resembles a cherry in appearance and has a dark red color when fully ripe.
