The Barra Cannon is an old weapon discovered underwater in 2014 by fishermen in Barangay Barra, Roxas City. It is possibly a rare carronade, a short iron cannon from around 172 to 248 years ago, weighing about half a ton and measuring over three feet long. The cannon is rusty and damaged, missing parts like the cannonball and artillery wheels, showing signs of wear from water exposure over time.
