The Santo Entierro of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (IFI) is a life-size wooden sculpture of Jesus Christ housed in the IFI Church in Patnogon, Antique. The sculpture is estimated to be over 171 years old, sculpted around 1850. It is believed to have been crafted by the same sculptor as the Santo Entierro in the Museo de Iloilo and was initially used by the Roman Catholic Church until 1902. The image has been part of local celebrations, as part of processions during Holy Week and in visitations by devotees. Over time, it has suffered damage, including yellowing, missing parts, and broken areas, and its preservation is a challenge. The church plans to replace the casket for better protection and to ensure its longevity for future generations.
