Rystelle’s Mini-Mart in Sara, Iloilo, opened in 1985 as a small store owned by Jonella Salcedo Zerrudo and her husband. The store sells a variety of items like school supplies, home appliances, and beverages, and its name comes from their children’s names, Ryan and Estelle. Over time, the family expanded their business with a restaurant called Rumbuhan and opened a second grocery branch in 2021. The mini-mart has provided jobs for many locals. The store faces challenges like theft, natural disasters, and supply shortages, but the owner and staff keep the place clean and well-maintained to ensure a good shopping experience.
