Parish of St. Isidore in Zarraga, Iloilo, was established as an independent parish in 1869 and has since been a central part of the town’s religious and cultural life. Over the years, the church underwent several reconstructions, with major renovations beginning in 1985 and continuing through various leadership transitions. In 1947, the Sacred Heart Academy was founded to promote Catholic education, further strengthening the parish’s role in community formation. Numerous religious groups and programs have been organized to foster spiritual growth, community involvement, and vocations. Despite issues like financial challenges and weather damage, the parish remains active, supported by the Parish Pastoral Council and the generosity of parishioners and donors.
