Bishop Broderick Soncuaco Pabillo, born on March 11, 1955, in Victorias City, Negros Occidental, is a respected Catholic leader known for his deep faith and service. He studied in Don Bosco schools and later earned his theology degree from the University of Santo Tomas and a licentiate in sacred scripture in Rome. Ordained as a priest in 1982, he became Auxiliary Bishop of Manila in 2006 and later served as Apostolic Administrator of the Archdiocese of Manila. In 2021, Pope Francis appointed him Vicar Apostolic of Taytay in Palawan, where he continues his mission. Bishop Pabillo is widely recognized for speaking out on human rights and defending the poor and oppressed.
