Batan Academy is a K–10 educational institution in Ambolong, Batan, Aklan, that aspires to provide a safe, child-friendly, and gender-sensitive learning environment. Founded in 1926 by the local community, the school has grown from humble beginnings in a private residence to a nationally recognized institution offering both academic and vocational programs. Throughout its history, it has overcome challenges such as World War II destruction, economic difficulties, and natural disasters, rebuilding with the support of stakeholders and alumni. The Batan Academy Alumni and Former Students Association (BAAFSA), established in 1949, continues to support the school and maintain community connections. The school implements safeguarding measures, including perimeter fencing, security guards, visitor registration, child protection policies, and fire sprinklers.
