EUGENIO TUMBAGAHAN TUDERIOS

Eugenio Tumbagahan Tuderios, born on September 6, 1894, in Dumatad, Tangalan, Aklan, was a dedicated public servant who held various government positions from the 1910s to the 1950s. He served as Barrio Lieutenant, Deputy Assessor, Municipal Councilor, and later as Municipal President of Makato. During World War II, he played a key role in separating Tangalan from Makato and was appointed Mayor of Tangalan under Executive Order No. 12 issued by Governor Tomas Confessor. He also became Deputy Governor of Capiz and a delegate to the Liberal Party’s national convention.
