The sculpture, At the Wheel of the Nation was created in 1954 by artist Augusto J. Lopez and is currently owned by the Local Government Unit of San Miguel. Made from concrete and other materials, it features a clock, the Philippine flag, and two figures, one believed to represent President Ramon Magsaysay and the other a Filipino citizen.
