The Maniguin Light Station is a historic lighthouse located on Maniguin Island, Antique, built in 1906 and now over 115 years old. It features Spanish and American colonial architecture, including a tall concrete tower with a spiral iron staircase and a keeper’s house called the Guest House. The lighthouse once helped local fishermen safely navigate the seas and served as an important landmark. Currently, the lighthouse is deteriorating, with rust damage inside and the keeper’s house in ruins, though it remains on its original site. Despite its significance, there are no known conservation efforts, and threats like typhoons and possible unauthorized damage have been reported.
