Washington Baptist Church in Brgy. Sinuagan, Badiangan, Iloilo was established in 1908 by early American Baptist missionaries and local converts, with the first worships held in private homes. The church, originally made from bamboo and cogon, also served as a school before being damaged during World War II and later rebuilt through community efforts and donations. Over time, different pastors led the congregation, and families continued supporting the church financially. Today, the church remains active with 30 baptized members and community outreach programs like sports events, school visits, and Bible studies. Despite financial limitations and structural challenges, the church continues its mission with strong spiritual and social support, backed by a community fund for future needs.
