The 1896 bell of the Roman Catholic Church of Concepcion is a historic object that remains in the church’s bell tower, though it no longer rings properly due to cracks and breaks. Measuring nearly a meter in height and weighing eight pounds, the bell bears markings of its production year and serves as a symbol of faith and tradition. Locals believe it was once stolen by a neighboring town and recovered years later, and elders still associate its 6 PM toll with warnings for children to go home. Despite its value, the bell is deteriorating, facing damage and neglect, with no current efforts in place to conserve or protect it.
