Barasan, Igbaras, Iloilo, where he followed his father’s steps and engaged in farming and carpentry from a young age, He attended Barasan Elementary School and later continued his education at Igbaras National High School. However, Marben’s academic journey was interrupted in the middle of high school. In recognition of his heroism in carrying six casualties during the tragedy, he was posthumously awarded the Scout Roy Award by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Igbaras on October 6, 2023, with the honor received by his father.
