Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology (ISUFST) is the country’s first and only established state university of fisheries. Established in 1957 from the former Barotac Nuevo High School, it became the Iloilo State College of Fisheries in 1978, and later elevated as a university in 2023.
