UPV-CMPG Program Management representatives Anna Razel Ramirez and Michelle Villavert met with NCCA Deputy Executive Director Bernan Corpuz together with Cultural Mapping Program Managers Mary Anne Luis and Gladys Mae Argonza to discuss the program implementation of the project in coordination with various SUCs and the local government units of UP Visayas.
UPV under the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension and NCCA will target the accomplishment of 107 compendium and registry for each of the municipalities of the Province of Iloilo, Aklan, Capiz, Antique and Guimaras. NCCA will also provide technical training to UPV, SUCs and LGUs on participatory cultural mapping.
The cultural mapping of Panay and Guimaras is under the initiative of the Office of Senator Loren Legarda and will be conducted with the following SUCs: West Visayas State University, Iloilo Science and Technology University, Iloilo State University of Fisheries, Science and Technology, Aklan State University, Capiz State University, Guimaras State University and the University of Antique.
