On May 9 and 10, 2024, UP Visayas Cultural Mapping team, represented by Anna Razel L. Ramirez and Michelle L. Villavert turned over the municipal profiles of 18 towns of Antique. The books contain an inventory of the significant cultural assets of the localities born from the Cultural Mapping of Antique Project (Phase I) with DEPEd Antique initiated by Senate President Pro Tempore Loren Legarda. The distribution activity was supported by Cong. AA Legarda, Representative of the Lone District of Antique.
Currently, the 2nd phase of the cultural mapping activities in Antique is being conducted by UP Visayas and the University of Antique, together with the LGUs of Antique, and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. This undertaking is under the overall program of the Cultural Mapping of Panay and Guimaras Project which was also initiated by Senator Loren Legarda.
