Representatives from the CMPG-UPV Team and DepEd Region VI, together with Negros Occidental Provincial Tourism Office, gathered for the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement with Governor Eugenio Jose V. Lacson on June 26, 2024 at the Governor’s Office, Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol.
Following the formalization of this MOA, UP Visayas and the project partners will co-facilitate the cultural mapping training of the local mappers of the province this July.
The CMPG is a priority project of Senator Loren B. Legarda, in compliance with Republic Act 11961, also known as the Cultural Mapping Law.
