Project Teams from Aklan State University, Capiz State University, Iloilo Science and Technology University, Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science Technology, Guimaras State University, University of Antique, West Visayas State University, and the Department of Education Region VI attended the event, which concluded the engagements of these institutions for the inventory of cultural heritage of Western Visayas.

This priority initiative of the Office of Sen. Loren B. Legarda was implemented by UP Visayas starting in 2023 in collaboration with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and supported by various government agencies. The final output of this project is a compendium of cultural heritage of the region and a total of 144 books for each municipality of Western Visayas.
